Children’s Participation in Development Co-operation - Getting ready for the journey of child participation

Description

Published by the German Kindernothilfe (2019). This booklet encourages ‘taking off’ on the journey of children’s participation. Its chapters have been adapted to a child-friendly situation analysis tool – the Hot Air Balloon. This visual tool is usually used with children to analyse a challenge, set a goal, and explore strengths, risks and their mitigation. This publication can serve as an introduction to children’s participation, and an adjustable guideline on children’s participation in planning processes.
